It’s emphatic, insightful, galvanising, with a lyrical heart that is concerned with misfits, losers, and peculiarities of humankind in general. Songs like "Gustav”, "Rudi Ratlos” and "Horitzont” are regarded inimitable gems of German music history. Lindenberg is a versatile talent, being active as a painter and author as well; and is known for his exceptional political and social involvement. His latest release, the Unplugged double album, almost instantly reached peak position in the German album chart.
