New home arena for Berlin\'s ice hockey team
The team of Headcoach Don Jackson had the ideal preparation for their season\'s goal of defending the league title. After moving to their new home, the O2 World, the German champion seems promising to enthuse the audience with exciting and offensive games. For years, Eisbären Berlin have contracted the best German players. The courage to support the youth already paid off when they won three German league titles. Last year\'s team, run by captain Steve Walker and team veteran Sven Felski, was held together and even improved with the addition of Richie Regehr.
For the fifth time in six years Berlin\'s hockey team Eisbären Berlin reached the Finals in the DEL Play-offs.
