In 2008 Lady Gaga’s debut single “Just Dance” was an instant sensation and topped the charts in the U.S. and the United Kingdom. The second single, "Poker Face", from the album “The Fame” was sold more than nine million times. During the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2009 Lady Gaga won three awards and has been nominated in nine different categories. Furthermore, she polarized the audience with her performance of her new hit single “Paparazzi”.
The 23-year-old, whose stage performance has been primarily influenced by David Bowie and Queen, is also talented in songwriting and already worked for artists such as Britney Spears and the Pussycat Dolls. On November 20th, 2009 her second album will be released, which she is going to introduce to the O2 World audience during her concert on May 11th, 2010.
