Alicia Keys has many talents. The American works as a singer, actress, producer and composer. In addition, she writes poems and plays many different instruments. Already at the age of four Alicia Keys starred in The Cosby Show on national TV. As a singer the 28-year-old currently belongs to the top artists in the world.
Alicia Keys debut album “Songs In A Minor” was released in 2001 and sold more than 12 million copies worldwide. For this record she was honored with five Grammy Awards in total. Her debut single “Fallin” kept the top spot of the American single charts for six weeks.
Throughout her nine-year-long career Keys has already worked with the biggest stars of the music industry: Usher, Mos Def, Christina Aguilera, Eve, Bono, Alejandro Sanz, Mario and Whitney Houston – to just name a few. Her current single “Empire State Of Mind”, which she recorded together with Jay-Z, is occupying the top spot of the American Billboard Charts already for weeks.
On December 15th, 2010 her new album “The Element of Freedom” was released. Its songs as well as hits from prior albums will be performed by Alicia Keys on May 7th, 2010 at O2 World.
