Roger Waters to perform "The Wall" Live at O₂ World Berlin

Co-Founder and main songwriter of Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, will perform his masterpiece "The Wall" live at O₂ World on June 15th and 16th, 2011.

Until today "The Wall" was performed on a concert stage only 31 times due to its complexity. In honor to the fall of the Berlin Wall Waters played his masterpiece in front of 500,000 people at the Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. Critics declared that concert, which took place in 1990, as the best concert ever.

Fans of Waters and Pink Floyd can look forward to an extraordinary live experience. During the first part of the concert a 73 meter wide and 10.6 meter high wall will be build on stage and destroyed again when the concert comes to an end. In addition, Waters plans to project pictures of war victims on this very wall to emphasize the political and social message of "The Wall".
