Eisbären Berlin want to bring the title back to Berlin

After winning the preseason tournament The European Trophy in August the Eisbären Berlin are heading into the new DEL season looking for revenge for last season\'s loss in the Playoff Quarterfinals against the Augsburger Panther.

The heart of the Berlin hockey team stayed together. With Danish national player Mads Christensen and the American Jimmy Sharrow only two players were added to the squad. Denis Pederson, who announced his retirement shortly before the Playoffs started, returned as well to win another league title with the Eisbären Berlin.
