Laura Pausini is without doubt the Queen of Italian pop music. Due to her collaboration with James Blunt in 2009 the Italian-born celebrated her European breakthrough in the very same year. Pausini not only sings in her mother language. Numerous songs in English, Spanish and Portuguese can also be found in her discography.

Since her first stage appearance in 1993 Pausini had published 16 albums, sold more than 40 billion copy of them, was awarded 16 platinum records and received several Grammy awards. In 2007 she was the first woman to sell out the Milan Giuseppe Meazza Stadium. More than 70,000 people watched her show.
