Silbermond live at O₂ World Berlin

After a creative pause of two years, Silbermond are back in the world of pop and are set to play at O₂ World Berlin on 8 December 2012 as part of their "Himmel Auf” – Tour 2012.

The quartet has landed on a winning track that is second to none in Germany. Raised in the sedate town of Bautzen near Dresden, young Stefanie Kloß, Johannes Stolle, Thomas Stolle and Andreas Nowak decided to make music together at the early age of 14. Even though their musical style was still in the making, the band participated in numerous band contests mainly with English songs and cover versions of their own idol’s songs. Within weeks, Silbermond managed to beat their competition hands down and was given the honor to play to an astonishing 10,000 people as support act for the band Puhdys. Silbermond’s 2004 debut album "Verschwende deine Zeit” quickly reached top positions in the German chart, with follow-ups "Laut gedacht” (2006) and "Nichts passiert” (2009) doing even better.
