Pearl Jam live at O₂ World Berlin

Pearl Jam are to play their only two dates in Germany at O₂ World Berlin on July 4th and 5th 2012. The band, who are currently working on their new studio album, have invited legendary punk rockers "X” from Los Angeles to join them as Special Guest.

After their breakthrough debut album "Ten” in 1992, Pearl Jam, amongst Nirvana, were soon declared the leaders of the new grunge movement. With their heavy sound and the emotionally laden live performances, Pearl Jam’s music did not only meet the spirit of the times perfectly, but would be defining for all the big Seattle bands at that time. With a total of nine studio albums and three live records to date, Pearl Jam were also the only band to transfer the early 90s zeitgeist right to the new century.

In 2011, the band celebrated their 20th anniversary with a tour through Canada, South- and Central America as well as Mexico. Additonally, the movie "Pearl Jam Twenty” was released with a book and the soundtrack.
